My Solution
Oppigårds is a brewery located in Hedemora. Their summer bar/restaurant inspired me to expand on that concept and create a summer festival — a Fölkfestival. The idea focuses on locally grown and organic products, local artists, open stage, camping, and play areas for all ages. Since they already provide space for RVs and have large areas suitable for tents, the setting felt perfect.
App
I chose to design a festival app. As Oppigårds values sustainability and waste reduction, a digital solution felt relevant.
Helping to minimize paper and printed materials. All physical signage and menus would instead be carved in wood.
The app was sketched and animated in Adobe XD, the video was created in After Effects, illustrations in Illustrator, and the painting (the Oppigårds house, end of the video to the left) in Photoshop.

The app also serves as a pre-festival trigger through a competition: “Design the bottle”.
This concept could become a tradition where the winning design is featured on that year’s festival beer.
With a new flavor and design each year, developed by Oppigårds.
Includes a QR code that provides quick access to explore the app and participate in the competition.
